What Is Synchronized Swimming?

image1

It is said that if you combine the strength of a water polo player, the stamina of a long distance runner, the flexibility of a gymnast, and the grace of a ballerina, you would have a synchronized swimmer.

Synchronized Swimming became an Olympic sport in 1984.

Fun Fact: They NEVER get to touch the bottom of the pool.
