Synchronized Swimming became an Olympic sport in 1984.
The sport was re-branded Artistic Swimming in March 2020.

The San Diego Synchronized Swimming Team, a member of the USA Artistic Swimming, is a year-round artistic swim team that competes in local, regional, and national competitions.
OUR GOAL for our San Diego Synchronized Swim Team is to develop coaches and athletes in the sport of artistic swimming through sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence.
OUR VISION is to establish our team not only for our current swimmers, but for swimmers and coaches for many years to come.

We have a variety of competitive programs ranging from novice, intermediate, and age group.
Group selection depends on the athlete's age and swim skill level.
