What Is Artistic Swimming?
It is said that if you combine the strength of a water polo player, the stamina of a long distance runner, the flexibility of a gymnast, and the grace of a ballerina, you would have an artistic swimmer.
Synchronized Swimming became an Olympic sport in 1984.
The sport was re-branded Artistic Swimming in March 2020.
Fun Fact: We NEVER get to touch the bottom of the pool!

Who Are We?
The San Diego Sea Stars, a member of the USA Artistic Swimming (USAAS), is a year-round artistic swim team that competes in local, regional, and national competitions.
OUR GOAL for our San Diego Artistic Swim Team is to develop coaches and athletes in the sport of artistic swimming through sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence.
OUR VISION is to establish our team not only for our current swimmers, but for swimmers and coaches for many years to come.

Just starting out?

RECREATIONAL PROGRAM (ALL AGES)
This is our introductory program to artistic swimming. This program focuses on basic skill building and a way for you and your swimmer to get a feel for the team dynamics before committing to a competition season.
*Minimum Age: 5 Years Old
*Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted and demonstrate comfort submerging and swimming underwater
*No synchro experience required
Commitment:
- Year-round
- 1 day a week - Saturdays
- No competitions
Tuition: $175/Month

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM (AGES 5 - 19)
COMPETITIVE PROGRAM (AGES 5 - 19)
Are you a natural performer and ready to dive right in?
We have a variety of competitive programs ranging from Novice, Intermediate, Age Group, Youth, and Junior/Senior.
Group selection depends on the athlete's age and swim skill level.
Commitment:
- Year-round
- 2-3 days a week - Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays
- Competitions may vary
Tuition: $250-$350/Month
Location: East County Pools
MASTERS PROGRAM (20+)
COMPETITIVE PROGRAM (AGES 5 - 19)

A "Master" is anyone over the age of 19, no matter your skill level!

- Recreational Program - Saturdays only - $175/Month - No competitions
- Competitive Program - Tuesdays & Saturdays - $300/Month - Competitions vary
